Has anyone ever stayed over-night at the SnowHotel?
Yes, thousands of people have stayed over-night at the SnowHotel. During the winter-season 2008 we had 1400 over-night guests, who came from nearly 40 different countries.
How can you sleep in the SnowHotel- rooms? Is it cold there?
The temperature in the rooms is about -5 degrees Celsius. At night-time, after the gates into the SnowCastle are already closed, we will prepare the rooms ready for guests to go and sleep. On the bed we will lay a good-sized sleeping-bag made for arctic conditions, and inside this sleeping-bag you will also have a fleece-sheet (in fact, a fleece-sleeping-bag). The sleeping-bag is warm enough for you to wear only thin underwear, socks and a cap. Your outer-wear you will place between the sleeping-bag and the lambskin on the bed, so they will be warm in the morning.
